DAY 1:  JRO - LAKE MANYARA - TO—TARANGIRE NATIONAL PARK
Pick up from Arusha/JRO with your private safari guide and 4 x 4 safari Land Cruiser and transfer to Lake Manyara National Park. Located beneath the cliffs of the Manyara Escarpment, on the edge of the Rift Valley, Lake Manyara National Park offers varied ecosystems, incredible bird life, and breathtaking views. Located on the way to Ngorongoro Crater and the Serengeti, Lake Manyara National Park is well worth a stop in its own right. Its ground water forests, bush plains, baobab strewn cliffs, and algae-streaked hot springs offer incredible ecological variety in a small area, rich in wildlife and incredible numbers of birds. DAY 2: SERENGETI
Transfer from Lake Manyara National Park with your picnic lunch boxes for Serengeti National Park which is Tanzania’s most famous national park, and also the largest, at 14,763 square kilometers of protected area that borders Kenya’s Masai Mara Game Park. Its far-reaching plains of endless grass, tinged with the twisted shadows of acacia trees, have made it the quintessential image of a wild and untarnished Africa. Its large stone kopjes are home to rich ecosystems, and the sheer magnitude and scale of life that the plains support is staggering.  DAY 3: SERENGETI - FULL DAY
Full day of guided game viewing drives at Serengeti National Park with your private safari Land Cruiser. All meals and overnight stay at the Lodge. (B, L, D)

DAY 4: SERENGETI- NGORONGORO CONSERVATION AREA:
Ngorongoro crater is a natural amphitheatre created about 2 million years ago when the cone of a volcano collapsed into itself, leaving a 100sq. mile cauldron-like cavity. This caldera, protected by a circular unbroken 2,000 foot high rim, contains everything necessary for Africa's wildlife to exist and thrive. Game viewing vehicles descend the steep crater wall every morning and spend the day on grass plains that are teeming with animals. Predators such as lion, spotted hyena, leopard, jackal and cheetah lord over a domain that swarms with zebra, wildebeest, gazelle and other herbivores. Tanzania's few remaining black rhino are regularly sighted in the crater, as are large herds of buffalo. In the lake on the crater floor and in the Ngoitokitok swamps, reside plenty of hippos who remain particularly submerged during the day and graze on grass at night. The stunning pink flamingo is also resident at the Crater.

Early morning departure to Ngorongoro Crater for a full day game viewing at the Conservation Area with picnic lunches. The Ngorongoro Crater is often called ‘Africa’s Eden’ and the ‘8th Natural Wonder of the World,’ a visit to the crater is a main draw card for tourists coming to Tanzania and a definite world-class attraction. Within the crater rim, large herds of zebra and wildebeest graze nearby while sleeping lions laze in the sun. At dawn, the endangered black rhino returns to the thick cover of the crater forests after grazing on dew-laden grass in the morning mist. Just outside the crater’s ridge, tall Masaai herd their cattle and goats over green pastures through the highland slopes, living alongside the wildlife as they have for centuries. DAY 5: ARUSHA- ZANZIBAR ISLAND.

Early morning departure after breakfast and Transfer to the airport to catch your flight back to ZANZIBAR ISLAND. On arrival at Zanzibar Int Airport you will be met by our representative who will escort you to the car, for a 1 hour drive to your east coast of Zanzibar Island near the village at your deluxe beach resort.

Begin your safari adventure with a few days spent exploring the exclusive Tarangire National Park for some of the largest herds of elephants in East Africa. Continue with a visit to the Lake Manyara National Park and its tree-climbing lions, and a day in the impressive Ngorongoro Crater searching for the sly leopard and plenty of Cape Buffaloes...

Take a chartered flight to the northern part of the world famous Serengeti National Park. Witness the Great Wildebeest Migration as you spend two full days exploring these stunning plains for wildlife, including the Big 5.
This is a great tour for anyone who is in East Africa but doesn't have a lot of time and wants to experience some of the best game parks in the region.


8 Day -to- Day Itinerary:

Days 1-2: Discovering the Tarangire
Arrive in Arusha and drive to the exclusive Sopa Lodge in the Tarangire National Park. This exclusive tented camp is situated in a remote, unspoiled part of the park and is your base for the next two nights.
Spend the next day touring this 'hidden gem' in the Northern Circuit of Tanzania’s game parks. Search for the large herds of elephants (as many as 400), the vast number of zebras and wildebeests, and predators, including the famed tree-climbing lion.

Days 3-4: Game viewing on the Crater floor
After breakfast, embark on a short game drive as you make your way to Plantation Lodge near the Ngorongoro Conservancy. Along the way, enjoy an afternoon game drive in the renowned Lake Manyara National Park, arriving at the lodge in time for dinner.

The next day, you’ll set off on a full day of game driving of the famous Ngorongoro Crater, stopping along the way to enjoy a picnic lunch. Experience one of the best wildlife-viewing parks in East Africa as you drive around this unbroken caldera searching for lions, hippos, and wildebeest.

Days 5-7: Exploring the Serengeti
This morning, transfer to the Lake Manyara Airstrip for a scheduled charter flight to the famous Serengeti National Park. Once in the park, enjoy a short game drive as you make your way to Serengeti Sopa Lodge | or similar.
Spend the next two days exploring this fantastic game park searching for the Big 5 - elephant, lion, leopard, buffalo, and rhino. Depending on the time of your visit, you may even witness the Great Migration of nearly a million wildebeest and zebras as they move north close to the camp.


Day 8: Ending your tour in Arusha
After a final morning game drive, you'll transfer back to the Kogatende Airstrip for a scheduled flight to the Kilimanjaro International Airport. Your tour ends upon the arrival in Arusha.
